In the BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction, the work Figures standing in a boat yard sold for GBP 705.00 (€ 1,181.95) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 350.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jules Lessore; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The harbour at Honfleur, Normandy sold at auction in November 2008 with the realized price of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,209.08).
