The work La Halte De La Caravane by Jules Laurens was sold in the Orientalist Paintings auction at Artcurial in November 2016. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,160.00 39% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jules Laurens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mercantile Caravenserai In Tabriz, Persia in April 2020 with an auction result of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 40,261.98).

Die Arbeit La Halte De La Caravane von Jules Laurens wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Orientalist Paintings bei Artcurial versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.160,00 und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jules Laurens auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mercantile Caravenserai In Tabriz, Persia im April 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 40.261,98).
