A top price for Jules Ernest Renoux - as previously expected
The work Avenue des Champs Elysées et Le Petit Palais by Jules Ernest Renoux was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,151.00 (€ 3,044.26) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Avenue des Champs Elysées et Le Petit Palais is the most expensive artwork by Jules Ernest Renoux that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Avenue des Champs Elysées et Le Petit Palais von Jules Ernest Renoux kam im Dezember 2004 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.151,00 (€ 3.044,26) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Avenue des Champs Elysées et Le Petit Palais das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jules Ernest Renoux, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
