In the Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures auction, the work Jeune Garçon Sur La Plage sold for EUR 28,600.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jules Bastien-Lepage achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait De Sarah Bernhardt in October last year with an auction result of USD 2,280,000.00 (€ 2,295,147.98).

In der Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Paintings and Drawings, Sculptures wurde die Arbeit Jeune Garçon Sur La Plage für EUR 28.600,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jules Bastien-Lepage erzielen.
