Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Jules Bastien-Lepage achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in May 2015. In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work French marchande De Fleurs À Londres sold for USD 1,570,000.00 (€ 1,428,051.66) - well above the upper estimate of USD 700,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jules Bastien-Lepage; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Portrait De Sarah Bernhardt sold at auction in October last year with the realized price of USD 2,280,000.00 (€ 2,295,147.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jules Bastien-Lepage erzielte im Mai 2015 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art wurde die Arbeit French marchande De Fleurs À Londres für USD 1.570.000,00 (€ 1.428.051,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 700.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Jules Bastien-Lepage; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Portrait De Sarah Bernhardt im Oktober letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 2.280.000,00 (€ 2.295.147,98).
