This artwork by Jules-Alexandre Grün achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in May 2013. In the Vintage Posters auction, the work Monaco sold for GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,484.46) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Jules-Alexandre Grün have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Étude Pour 'Un Groupe D'Artistes' in April 2021 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 15,586.03).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jules-Alexandre Grün erzielte im Mai 2013 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Vintage Posters wurde die Arbeit Monaco für GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.484,46) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jules-Alexandre Grün auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Étude Pour 'Un Groupe D'Artistes' im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 15.586,03).
