Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Schaal Chocolatier Strasbourg by Jules Abel Faivre for USD 687.50 (€ 526.05). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jules Abel Faivre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Tireuse De Cartes in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Schaal Chocolatier Strasbourg von Jules Abel Faivre für USD 687,50 (€ 526,05) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jules Abel Faivre erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Tireuse De Cartes im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
