A top price for Judy Kensley McKie - as previously expected
In April 2018 Phillips in London held the auction Important Design, which included the work 'Leopard Couch' by Judy Kensley McKie. The price achieved of GBP 150,000.00 (€ 170,834.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, 'Leopard Couch' is the most expensive artwork by Judy Kensley McKie that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2018 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Important Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Leopard Couch' von Judy Kensley McKie zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 150.000,00 (€ 170.834,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist 'Leopard Couch' das teuerste Kunstwerk von Judy Kensley McKie, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
