Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Sin Título by Juan Roberto Diago. The price achieved of USD 16,250.00 (€ 11,063.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Juan Roberto Diago - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2016 for USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,942.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sin Título von Juan Roberto Diago zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 11.063,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Juan Roberto Diago mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.942,07) versteigert wurde.
