This artwork by Juan Antonio de Frias y Escalante achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2015. In the Old Master & British Paintings auction, the work Saint Peter Nolasco Carried To The Altar By Angels sold for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 18,881.92) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Juan Antonio de Frias y Escalante; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Vision Of Saint Paschal Baylon sold at auction in October 2008 with the realized price of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 28,679.43).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Juan Antonio de Frias y Escalante erzielte im April 2015 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
