The price achieved of GBP 3,528.00 (€ 4,137.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Juan Antonio de Frias y Escalante have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Vision Of Saint Paschal Baylon in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 28,679.43).
