This artwork by Ju Jie achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. In the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 20,485.22) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ju Jie achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Green Mountain After Rain in September 2015 with an auction result of USD 394,000.00 (€ 352,983.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ju Jie erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 20.485,22) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ju Jie erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Green Mountain After Rain im September 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 394.000,00 (€ 352.983,34).
