Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Joseph Szabo could be acquired at Phillips in London in November 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Music auction, the work Rolling Stones Fans # 22 changed hands for GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,231.17) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Szabo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Priscilla in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,540.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joseph Szabo konnte im November 2009 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Music wechselte die Arbeit Rolling Stones Fans # 22 für GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.231,17) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Szabo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Priscilla im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 12.540,52).
