Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work Rolling Stones Fans # 13 by Joseph Szabo for GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,231.17). This price was achieved in the auction Music at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Szabo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Priscilla in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 12,540.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Rolling Stones Fans # 13 von Joseph Szabo für GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.231,17) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Music bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Szabo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Priscilla im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 12.540,52).
