Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The daughters of the artist blowing bubbles by Joseph Raphael was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2005. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 8,400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Raphael achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tea In The Orchard in August 2019 with an auction result of USD 548,075.00 (€ 498,748.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The daughters of the artist blowing bubbles von Joseph Raphael kam im November 2005 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 8.400,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Raphael erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tea In The Orchard im August 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 548.075,00 (€ 498.748,75).
