Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wheat Harvester with Hills of Uccle Beyond (Belgium) by Joseph Raphael was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in November this year. The price achieved of USD 23,040.00 (€ 21,122.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Raphael achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tea In The Orchard in August 2019 with an auction result of USD 548,075.00 (€ 498,748.75).

Die Arbeit Wheat Harvester with Hills of Uccle Beyond (Belgium) von Joseph Raphael kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Edinburgh zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 23.040,00 (€ 21.122,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Raphael erzielen.
