A top price for Joseph Nigg - as previously expected
The work Still life with roses, forget-me-not, poppies, hyacinths, butterflies and a bird's nest by Joseph Nigg was sold in the CLASSIC SALE auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in December 2015. The auction ended at the price of SEK 400,000.00 (€ 43,576.76), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Still life with roses, forget-me-not, poppies, hyacinths, butterflies and a bird's nest is the most expensive artwork by Joseph Nigg that we have observed at auctions so far.
