In June 2016 VAN HAM held the auction ACHENBACH ART AUCTION Part IV, which included the work Primetime 2 by Joseph Marr. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 967.00 21% above the estimate. Admittedly, works by Joseph Marr have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work FamilyTv 4 in June 2015 with an auction result of EUR 5,950.00.
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2016 führte VAN HAM die Auktion ACHENBACH ART AUCTION Part IV durch, in der auch die Arbeit Primetime 2 von Joseph Marr zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 967,00 und damit 21% über dem Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joseph Marr auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit FamilyTv 4 im Juni 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.950,00.
