Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Bonhams held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Online Sale, which included the work Art made with a rubber stamp and signed by Joseph Kosuth by Joseph Kosuth. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,166.57) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Kosuth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work ‘Titled (A.A.I.A.I.)’ [text-context|AID1046897] in November last year with an auction result of USD 289,800.00 (€ 280,732.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Art made with a rubber stamp and signed by Joseph Kosuth von Joseph Kosuth zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.166,57) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Kosuth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ‘Titled (A.A.I.A.I.)’ [text-context|AID1046897] im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 289.800,00 (€ 280.732,35).
