Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work Dancing Couple With A Viola Da Gamba by Joseph Heintz the Elder. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 93,359.20). Admittedly, works by Joseph Heintz the Elder have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Diana And Callisto in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 485,000.00 (€ 687,567.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dancing Couple With A Viola Da Gamba von Joseph Heintz the Elder zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 93.359,20) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joseph Heintz the Elder auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Diana And Callisto im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 485.000,00 (€ 687.567,10).
