Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Etude de mains et de personnages by Joseph-François Parrocel was auctioned at Artcurial in September this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 787.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph-François Parrocel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Game of cherubs and cupids with doves and baskets of flowers in March this year with an auction result of EUR 16,000.00.

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 787,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph-François Parrocel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Game of cherubs and cupids with doves and baskets of flowers im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.000,00.
