Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The haunt of the heron by Joseph Farquharson was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 3,570.00 (€ 3,985.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Farquharson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work When The West With Evening Glows in August 2006 with an auction result of GBP 232,000.00 (€ 344,998.67).
