In November 2004 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art and Dogs, which included the work Gundogs On The Scent by Joseph Dunn of Worcester. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,585.00 (€ 5,157.00), 20% above the upper estimate. With this result, Gundogs On The Scent is even the most expensive work of art by Joseph Dunn of Worcester that we have observed at auctions so far.
