Auction result well in line with expectations
The work By the waterside by Joseph Bles was sold in the NINETEENTH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART auction at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2002. The price achieved of EUR 5,975.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joseph Bles have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch The Daily Market On The Groenmarkt With The St. Jacobskerk In The Back, The Hague in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 46,350.00.

Die Arbeit By the waterside von Joseph Bles wurde im Oktober 2002 in der Auktion NINETEENTH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.975,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
