Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2009 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Master and 19th Century Art, which included the work A river landscape at dusk by Joseph Bles. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Bles achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch The Daily Market On The Groenmarkt With The St. Jacobskerk In The Back, The Hague in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 46,350.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2009 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Master and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A river landscape at dusk von Joseph Bles zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Bles erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch The Daily Market On The Groenmarkt With The St. Jacobskerk In The Back, The Hague im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 46.350,00.
