Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction NINETEENTH CENTURY ART, which included the work A village scene: Merchants in rowing boats by Joseph Bles. The price achieved of EUR 7,637.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Joseph Bles have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch The Daily Market On The Groenmarkt With The St. Jacobskerk In The Back, The Hague in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 46,350.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion NINETEENTH CENTURY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit A village scene: Merchants in rowing boats von Joseph Bles zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 7.637,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Joseph Bles auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch The Daily Market On The Groenmarkt With The St. Jacobskerk In The Back, The Hague im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 46.350,00.
