Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2000 Christies in London held the auction 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART, which included the work Landscape Slate Heights by Joseph Alfred Terry. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 822.50 (€ 1,344.34). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Alfred Terry achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Garden Party in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 20,400.00 (€ 29,518.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape Slate Heights von Joseph Alfred Terry zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 822,50 (€ 1.344,34) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Alfred Terry erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Garden Party im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.400,00 (€ 29.518,46).
