Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Soleil Chaud by Josef Šíma was sold in the Art Contemporain Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Paris in December 2019. The price achieved of EUR 56,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 45,000.00 – 65,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Josef Šíma achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Jour du royal bleu in June this year with an auction result of EUR 806,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Soleil Chaud von Josef Šíma wurde im Dezember 2019 in der Auktion Art Contemporain Day Sale bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 56.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 45.000,00 – 65.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Josef Šíma erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Jour du royal bleu im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 806.400,00.
