However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Josef Maria Grassi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait de Tadeusz Kosciusko (1746-1817), en buste, portant un uniforme et la décoration de l'ordre de Cincinatus, which sold at auction in March 2002 for EUR 21,150.00.

Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Traditionally Identified As Mrs Lampi von Josef Maria Grassi kam im Juli 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 8.920,71) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Für andere Arbeiten von Josef Maria Grassi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait de Tadeusz Kosciusko (1746-1817), en buste, portant un uniforme et la décoration de l'ordre de Cincinatus beobachtet, die im März 2002 für EUR 21.150,00 versteigert wurde.
