A top price for José Vento - as previously expected
In July 2011 Christies in London held the auction The Duarte Pinto Coelho Collection From the distinguished decorator's houses in Madrid and Trujillo, Spain, which included the work Escena evangélica by José Vento. The result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,885.90) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Escena evangélica is the most expensive artwork by José Vento that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Duarte Pinto Coelho Collection From the distinguished decorator's houses in Madrid and Trujillo, Spain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Escena evangélica von José Vento zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.885,90) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 9.000,00.
