Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Urban & Pop Contemporary, which included the work 3rd Avenue Gowanus, Brooklyn - 2017 by José Parlá. It changed hands for a price of EUR 78,720.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by José Parlá - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Writers' Bench: Grand Concourse & 149th Street, The Bronx, which sold at auction in June last year for HKD 1,764,000.00 (€ 214,665.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit 3rd Avenue Gowanus, Brooklyn - 2017 von José Parlá zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 78.720,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von José Parlá mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Writers' Bench: Grand Concourse & 149th Street, The Bronx beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für HKD 1.764.000,00 (€ 214.665,78) versteigert wurde.
