In December 2014 Il Ponte held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Senza titolo by José Ortega. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,200.00 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by José Ortega - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work ORTEGA / DÜRER + -, which sold at auction in May 2019 for EUR 4,515.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2014 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Senza titolo von José Ortega zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.200,00 und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von José Ortega mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ORTEGA / DÜRER + - beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für EUR 4.515,00 versteigert wurde.
