Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Bonhams in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Concret by Jose Mijares. The price achieved of USD 10,200.00 (€ 9,998.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jose Mijares have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lo concreto en rojo in May last year with an auction result of USD 50,400.00 (€ 46,966.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Concret von Jose Mijares zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.200,00 (€ 9.998,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jose Mijares auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lo concreto en rojo im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 50.400,00 (€ 46.966,73).
