Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Nude in a landscape by José Manuel Capuletti. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 1,500.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,125.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by José Manuel Capuletti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Dernière Heure in November last year with an auction result of USD 12,750.00 (€ 12,351.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nude in a landscape von José Manuel Capuletti zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.125,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von José Manuel Capuletti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Dernière Heure im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 12.750,00 (€ 12.351,06).
