Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by José Manuel Capuletti could be acquired at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in November last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern & Contemporary Art auction, the work Two Works from the Series Las Familias Españolas changed hands for USD 382.50 (€ 370.53) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José Manuel Capuletti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Dernière Heure in November last year with an auction result of USD 12,750.00 (€ 12,351.06).

Dieses Kunstwerk von José Manuel Capuletti konnte im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Two Works from the Series Las Familias Españolas für USD 382,50 (€ 370,53) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José Manuel Capuletti erzielen.
