Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2009 Sothebys in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures & 20th Century British Art, which included the work French Les Connaisseurs by José Frappa. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,391.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by José Frappa have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work French Les Connaisseurs was auctioned for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,626.78).
