Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Old Master & 19th Century European Art, which included the work Christmas Delivery by José Frappa. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,924.17), 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by José Frappa have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,626.78) in November 2007 for the work French Les Connaisseurs.

Im Januar 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Christmas Delivery von José Frappa zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.924,17) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von José Frappa haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 9.626,78) im November 2007 für die Arbeit French Les Connaisseurs beobachtet.
