In November 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective, which included the work Spanish composition by José de Togores. The result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,810.89) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by José de Togores have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spanish Deux Personnages in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 47,147.85).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spanish composition von José de Togores zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.810,89) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von José de Togores auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spanish Deux Personnages im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 47.147,85).
