Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century Paintings including Spanish Painting and Symbolism & the Poetic Vision, which included the work Paisaje Con Árboles (Landscape With Trees) by José de Togores. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 14,002.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by José de Togores - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spanish Deux Personnages, which sold at auction in November 2014 for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 47,147.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century Paintings including Spanish Painting and Symbolism & the Poetic Vision durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paisaje Con Árboles (Landscape With Trees) von José de Togores zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 14.002,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von José de Togores mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spanish Deux Personnages beobachtet, die im November 2014 für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 47.147,85) versteigert wurde.
