Admittedly, works by José Cusachs y Cusachs have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Caballería in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 102,000.00.

Die Arbeit Spanish oficial De Caballería (Charging Cavalry Officer) von José Cusachs y Cusachs kam im November 2010 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.924,98) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von José Cusachs y Cusachs auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Caballería im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 102.000,00.
