Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Spanish Caballos (Horses) by José Cusachs y Cusachs for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,670.16). This price was achieved in the auction European Paintings including The Orientalist Sale, Symbolism and the Poetic Vision and Spanish Painting at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by José Cusachs y Cusachs have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Caballería in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 102,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Spanish Caballos (Horses) von José Cusachs y Cusachs für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.670,16) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion European Paintings including The Orientalist Sale, Symbolism and the Poetic Vision and Spanish Painting bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von José Cusachs y Cusachs auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Caballería im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 102.000,00.
