Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2020 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Paper Jam: Online Auction, which included this untitled work by Jorge Queiroz. The price achieved of USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,154.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jorge Queiroz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in April 2019 with an auction result of GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,995.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2020 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Paper Jam: Online Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jorge Queiroz zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.375,00 (€ 2.154,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jorge Queiroz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.995,22).
