Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July this year Christies in Paris held the auction First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online, which included the work European Giants by Jordy Kerwick. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,520.61). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jordy Kerwick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chic Imagery in May last year with an auction result of HKD 2,142,000.00 (€ 254,301.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit European Giants von Jordy Kerwick zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 20.160,00 (€ 23.520,61) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jordy Kerwick erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chic Imagery im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.142.000,00 (€ 254.301,37).
