Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work The Studio of a Rustic Genius by Jonathan Pratt for GBP 14,340.00 (€ 22,180.73). This price was achieved in the auction VICTORIAN PICTURES at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Jonathan Pratt have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2013 by the work The Hall And Staircase Of A Country House at GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,563.12).
