Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2004 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Yr Eifle - Lleyn Peninsula by Jonas Plosky. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 657.25 (€ 945.96). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jonas Plosky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Austin Seven, which sold at auction in February 2007 for GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,202.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yr Eifle - Lleyn Peninsula von Jonas Plosky zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 657,25 (€ 945,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jonas Plosky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Austin Seven beobachtet, die im Februar 2007 für GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.202,12) versteigert wurde.
