This artwork by Jonas Plosky achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2011. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Farm ruins - Deiniolen, Gwynedd sold for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,182.60) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jonas Plosky; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Austin Seven sold at auction in February 2007 with the realized price of GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,202.12).
