Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2006 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art & Dreaming Spires; Watercolours of Oxford and Cambridge Colleges, which included the work Looking out to Sea by Jonas Plosky. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,671.43), 20% above the upper estimate. Other works by Jonas Plosky have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 2,160.00 (€ 3,202.12) in February 2007 for the work The Austin Seven.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art & Dreaming Spires; Watercolours of Oxford and Cambridge Colleges durch, in der auch die Arbeit Looking out to Sea von Jonas Plosky zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.800,00 (€ 2.671,43) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Jonas Plosky haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.160,00 (€ 3.202,12) im Februar 2007 für die Arbeit The Austin Seven beobachtet.
