Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jon Pestoni could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in September 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Phillips x Artsy: Endless Summer auction, the work Loop changed hands for USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,920.12) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jon Pestoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Loose Turn in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 41,422.08).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jon Pestoni konnte im September 2020 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Endless Summer wechselte die Arbeit Loop für USD 2.250,00 (€ 1.920,12) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jon Pestoni erzielen.
