Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work Abstraction by Jon Gislason for DKK 1,550.00 (€ 208.01). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jon Gislason achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Himmelstigen”, 2004–2005 in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 2,600.00 (€ 2,272.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Abstraction von Jon Gislason für DKK 1.550,00 (€ 208,01) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jon Gislason erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Himmelstigen”, 2004–2005 im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 2.600,00 (€ 2.272,33).
