Auction result fails to reach estimate
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work “Flotte fyre” by Jon Gislason for DKK 1,550.00 (€ 1,354.66). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Other works by Jon Gislason have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in January 2024 by the work “Himmelstigen”, 2004–2005 at DKK 2,600.00 (€ 2,272.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit “Flotte fyre” von Jon Gislason für DKK 1.550,00 (€ 1.354,66) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Jon Gislason wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Januar 2024 die Arbeit “Himmelstigen”, 2004–2005 mit DKK 2.600,00 (€ 2.272,33).
